If you can make alamo village, try to go to Del Rio and cross the Pecos river and on the other side is Langtry, Tx.
You can go to Judge Roy Beans Saloon there.
I would stay at Hotel 6 in Del Rio, they got good prices.

alamo village was built by john wayne. he needed a movie set for his movie the alamo. it is a great historical village now. has been used over 100 times for different movies...they put on a great show there. singing, dancing, a street shoot out.....a great time and well worth the day spent there..........

We have a place similar to that down by the Royal Gorge called Buckskin Joes, It's an old western town and has been used in movies.
Those are some nice looking roads in your pictures. Makes me want to head down that way and look them over.
    Thanks Ya'll...:roflmao:

another thing that happened at the set, the curator, which was a real character....allowed us to bring the bikes into the Alamo for a photo shoot....we lined them up all together and one of a time.....got goose bumps riding through the Alamo gates up to the church......
