My neighborhood and local favorite road. A drunk driver takes out a very experienced biker and Indy owner. Lost a leg and is still critical. Ron is a past General Manager of Lighthouse Harley Davidson which was the sponsoring dealer for my HOG chapter. The dealership closed a few years ago and Ron opened Thunder Bikes here in my home town. He is a true friend of bikers and was very helpful to us. This is a shame.

Dang! Glad he survived. Its crazy out there. Experience is no competition for an impaired driver. Just glad he survived.

Yes, and he's reputable and reasonable. Just 2 miles from my house. The hospital had to post security, too many friends rushing there. THAT, is testament to his character !!

Totally sucks. We're all hoping he can get through this. Losing a leg is terrible, but it isn't as bad as it used to be - he can do just about everything he did before as long as he gets past the other hurts.
