Looks like a beautiful day Chuck. Nice Pics.

I didn't get much riding in this weekend. I found some broken parts in the rear fender frame. Had to get the neighbor to do some tig welding for me. I'm good to go now and didn't even have to go to the stealership for parts.:D

Hey, when are you going to go down to the gulf and get some oily beach shots for us? Not meaning to be funny. That **** aint funny at all.

Great pics Chuck. My Grandmother used to have quilting "B's". Her and about 7 other ladies would line up - 4 down each side of the quilting saw horse frames and do quilts. She had about 30 quilts when she passed away. My mother who passed away last Wednesday was always one of the other 7 ladies. They turned out some really beautiful patchwork. It great to know there are others who appreciate an art that will be soon lost to the generations. They have now mechanized the quilting but the stitching is not nearly as nice. I could go on forever about the quilting B's.:):)

My mon was a quilter to, I have the last one she made. It was for my 50th birthday, she asked me what I wanted and I told her, I also have several others she made. nothing beats them on a cold night, heck we keep one on the bed year round.

The wife is a quilter, and she teaches her other friends in quilting. She has made some pretty cool looking quilts.

I remember staying up at my grandmaother's house when I was a kid. The extra bedroom was upstairs. The house was originally a two story log house and over 100 years old. In the winter the upstairs bedroom was heated by moving a plank in the floor that would let heat up from the fireplace on the lower level. Anyhow she had a feather bed upstairs so we would get in bed under about 4 or 5 quilts. That was when I learned where the saying "Make your nest" came from because that's exatly what you did in that feather bed.
