I'm new to the forum so please excuse my first post without introducing myself...(I'm David in Tennessee and been riding since I started out on a Briggs and Stratton powered mini-bike at age 9)

I am entered in the Challenge and would welcome others to check it out and consider entering.

The run looks very interesting, I'd love to do it , but being out of work it an't going to happen. I have driven in a Pickup to Alaska and back up through Canada to Fairbanks, Alaska. In January of all times, it took 7 days because you had to plan where you could buy gas and spend the night. It was right at 3,700 miles from Colorado Springs to Fairbanks and the roads where snow packed from just North of Denver to Fairbanks.

Welcome David next time don't be so rude!!:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao: Hard to be rude with this bunch.

This race sounds very interesting -only open to air cooled HD. I read some of the blogs and it sounds like they have 1000 riders do you know if it is limited to how many can ride?

It is limited to the first 1,000 riders who are accepted to participate by the organizers.

Go to www.hokaheychallnege.com and check it out. It just might be for you.

Hey Cowboy. I haven't made this run before as this is the inaugural event. Of course I'm greatly looking forward to it.

If you're interested in possibly participating, you can call the event organizers (listed on Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge 2010 ) and ask to speak to Beth. She'll tell you anything and everything you might want to know about it.

Tell her David in Tennessee said hi ;-)

Doc has me on Light duty, I'm really not suppose to do much more than ride 6 miles to town if I need something.
    I can't support anybody.
I work for a little spending money.
Cutomers just want their boat fixed so they can drive it around the lake or fish or ski.
If I saved it for over 5 yrs I might be able to buy a new bike with some help.:D
