Anybody on here made the move to apes on their bagger? I've been interwebbin this for a while and while there is good information out there...I cant really find the nuts and bolts of it. Shoulder height is good but I'm not sure what that translates to in bar height. And, pullback distance. I'm 6'2 and got plenty of reach. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. If your runnin em give me the low down on the hot set up...

Yes. I am running apes on my 01 Road Glide. I am running 16" and Burley I believe are the manufacturer of them. I love them a lot and are very comfortable. JMO.

Have you rode any long distance (500-600) with those bars and if so how did you feel at the end of the day?

Those pictures that you see with me riding it is right after I bought on its maiden ride as me as the owner. That trip was a 400 mile trip and won't think twice about riding out to Nevada next summer with those bars on. I could have done another 400 miles easy that day..

You can buy yaffee, custom chrome, carlini, whomever and pay big buck for the same
bars you'll see at every bike store, show, meet.

    Call BR Custom

    Page 1

they can make whatever you want, height, angle, pullback, color whatever.

Buddy has them on his RG, they are some of the best bars I've ever seen

Check out the bars on his RG they are in the gallery
