Saw a thread the other day about them but was wondering if anyone has dealt with them regarding premature failure lately?

Thanks cowboy. I'm the only one that I know who is running their engines. The only one that I trust anyway. I've got 30k+ on my 100" and had to take it apart last night. Found a missing circlip on the front piston. Wrist pin slid out to within 1/8" of cylinder wall but no damage. Bad news is that while the piston end looks good the rod is wobbling all around on the crank pin. Gotta rebuild it and just wondering what to expect from Ultima. I think I'm being optimistic expecting more than a free hat with the purchase of my new lower end...

Out of warranty Lucifer. Any compensation would be as a gesture of good faith on their part for leaving out parts during assembly. Can't claim that the wrist pin problem is totally responsible for the lower end failure but I know it didn't help any. Kinda makes me wonder what else they did or didn't do...
