I was thinking maybe he's got the rear brake lever on the handlebar.
I agree, doing that in traffic tends to P/O people.

That's not just great balance, but brake and throttle control. I agree..probably has the rear brake rerouted to the handlebar. While I don't condone that kind of exhibition on the streets, he's pretty damn good.

I was heading across the San Mateo bridge (just south of the Bay Bridge in SF Bay) to the Intl Motorcycle Show in San Mateo a few years ago when about a dozen sportbikes grouped together slowed traffic allowing a gap of about a 1/4 mile in front of them. Then they took turns riding wheelies across the bridge..high fiving each other side by side while up, etc. Quite a show. Not sure if it pissed off any drivers behind us as my buddy and I had front row seats behind these guys, but I sure as hell enjoyed the show. Now..if one of them went down it'd snarl traffic on a busy bridge for a bit, but not one mishap Thank God.

1988? I think, a friend's next door neighbor was Gene La Bell, a top stunt man in Hollywood. We were clowning around in front of his place and Gene came out with his Honda 90 and put on a show for us. Being the agreeable sort that I am :)roflmao: ), I said that a little bike is a lot easier to handle. He said "Ok, I'll do it on your Sportster (1980 XLH set up for long distance for two). Well, Reader's Digest version, I ate my words. BTW, Gene could easily out ride that guy.

I gotta agree....When Im in traffic, I suck it up like everybody else, but theres always those guys who believe the rules dont apply to them. So when people see me, hopefully they don't think I'm gonna pull the same thing as the idiot that either just blew by them doing a wheelie, or flipped em off or whatever.

We have a stunt team here in Alberta they call themselves Canadian Chaos they dp all these stunts and more however at shows not on the street and at the end of the show all riders do a smoke show burnout gradually moving about a circle with feet on pegs mind you and the one to do the best smoke show and blow his tire last wins. Quite fantastic I would have been able to do something like that maybe when I was in my teens. Tom

The Canadian Chaos team is amazing. I saw them last year at the Ride For Sight, and just saw them again yesterday at the Ride For Dad (where they volunteered their time to raise $$ for the cause). They do some CRAZY SH*T! Here is their website if you want to check them out: ~CANADIAN CHAOS - Professional Motorcycle Freestyle Display Team~

For those in the Alberta area, they will be doing two shows for the 2007 Ride For Sight in Olds this weekend, June 9. Should be a blast!

Anyone that can do that with a Harley Davidson deserves credit!! Crazy indeed and I am sure he'll get in trouble with the cops somewhere along the way!

Well at least all the Japanese bike lovers can no longer claim that they were the only ones doing it. Modifications for this type of stunts are quite intense, but it is just incredible to see guys doing these stunts, as though they are riding a 125 cc bike!

    Pretty cool

    Regards,
    German

Pretty Cool I Think. Most Of The Time It's Always A Rice Burner Doing That Kind Of Stuff. I Thought A Buell Was Just A Sporster 1200 Wrapped Up In A Buell Frame. At Least It Was Last Time I Rode One.
