    Hey fellows,

Anyone riding down Daytona way in a couple weeks ? Well actually it starts next Friday- 29th. Hopefully I am leaving either Weds-5th. or Thursday-6th. Going to try and do all the trip without getting on the interstates. I normally run over to I-75 in Ga, down to I-10 in Fl and then over to I-95 down to Daytona. Nothing to see other than big trucks running at 90 mph. Not my idea of a road trip. I am not really in a hurry to get to stand in line to eat and sit in traffic (auto) to get down to main street. I like to meander thru the country side.

    Hey Cowboy,

I don't like the crowds either. I don't go every year anyway. There has been a change of plans. Some fellows I know live over in Ga. are going to ride down the east coast of Fl to Key West and then up thru Daytona. They said I could tag along, so that is what I am going to do. That way I won't be in Daytona but a couple days to endure the crowds. I did this trip a couple yrs ago and had a great time just site seeing. the ride across the Everglades is a trip and the Keys are a great ride. And thats what I like to do. You think all you guys could send me some gas money ???? Damnit man that **** has went out of sight.

I Was Planning To Go Stay At My Brother-in-law's In Jacksonville,fl. And Commute The 96 Miles To Daytona Beginning March 4th. If I Get Disgusted With The Crowds Or The Inflated Prices I'll Just Head Back To Theodore,al. And Spend The Rest Of The Week With My Little Girl. Daytona Has Gotten Out Of Hand With The Increases In The Price Of Everything And The Crowd Has Gotten Less Than Desireable.did You Know That The Motel/hotel Rates Double And Triple For That Week. The Restaurants Have Two Menus, one For When There Isn't An Activity Going On And One Inflated Priced For Events.i Learned My Lesson After Two Years Of Getting Robbed.
