So, was looking around and found this Fuel management thing...... Terminal Velocity II"Alpha N" Fuel Injection Management System Anybody ever heard of it? Used it? Did you like it? Problems? It was mentioning a specific EFI system.....I have not a clue which one I have on my 2004 E Glide Standard.... Any input would be interesting!! So far have the PCIIIr, but I like the idea of not having to find a dyno. All input appriciated!!! :D

It is made by Terry Componants...think they also sell, so I won't post the direct link, BUT if you copy the full name Terminal Velocity II"Alpha N" Fuel Injection Management System and do a google search, it is right there at the top of the list. Looks good on "paper", but I am curious as to HOW WELL it works for real by people that are actually using it!  Shoot, you can make duck poop look good on paper, but still doesn't look or taste any better in person! :D Thanks for any help!!

I believe Daytona Twin Tech makes a similar unit here in the US for EFI bikes and Carb bikes.

They are closed loop and semi closed loop EFI. When you cut through the mumbo-jumbo it boils down to it. Both of them work fairly well. The Terry Components is a brand labeled product and has had some problems. The Daytona Twin tech is pretty solid.

That's a lot of money to spend for a near stock bike.

I think its the VFI system

My IST works great with a carb, of course no fuel tuning but timing is set for me based on the needs of the motor.

    Works well

What kind of problems have been reported with the Terry Components unit?

Originally, they had some failures and a lack of support. That was when it was first rolled out about two years ago...It was the same idea but the 'new system' is better all the way around.
We have not received any complaints or failures.
