hi, i'm a te newbee. Got a Heritage classic 2010(FLSTC) and checking out on some parts. Does anyone has the mustache Kuryakyn (Ergo-Guard highway bars) installed. Someone told me that they touch the ground in a curve ? Any other concerns or alternative highway bars that have the same look.
happy to get your views :D

Like hotroadking, I was forever dragging my footboards on our '09 Heritage. If the highway bars drag before the footboards, you won't have much lean angle at all.

Those Kuryakyn Ergo-Guard bars are just a tiny bit LESS likely to hit the ground than stock H-D ones. They are sharp looking, too, I have to admit.

Engine guards are my favorite accessory. They have saved me from being mutilated or killed a few times. I'll state with 100% certainty that if those guards hit the ground, then the bike ain't on any rubber anyway. Get 'em and make guys like me jealous...

FLHT you got to pick those feet up, you're wearing out the soles on your boots. :)

I'm sitting there stopped so I don't want to pick up my feet or I'll fall over. :D

The picture was taken at the entrance to Crater Lake National Park last June.
