Hey guys, I'm looking to replace my stock "mini" ape handlebars with ones that are a little, emphasis on Little higher, maybe 2-3 inches. Nothing fancy just standard chrome. Any ideas?

I just replaced my 12.5 chubby bar with 14" LA Chopper bar. Absolutely love them.

How tall Are you & what are you looking for ie looks or comfort ? You really don't want them above shoulder height , arms will loose the blood flow after a few miles & numbness sets in

Look at my photo. I want maybe 2-3" higher (which will also bring em back a couple of inches. Looking for something that looks like the stock ones. The Paul Yaffees have a bend forward, NG. The other ones pictured are too Radical looking. Local dealers and Indys are no help (no stock).

Wild 1 Bagger Bars (WO575). They're REALLY comfortable. I also like that they keep my hands behind the fairing still, so they still work good in cold weather and are a little more protected from rain and debris. They're wider than stock, so the pain I got between my shoulder blades is gone. They have more pullback than stock too. I like the bars a lot.

This is what a buddy of mine that is short has on his Ultra

Realize this, you ain't gonna lean back with apes and ride.
Yer gonna sit up right and ride

CB I think you answered my question. The Wild One Chubby Mini Apes look good. I have to go measure existing bars and decide on the 8 1/2 or 10 inch rise.
    Thanks man:cheers:

It really doesn't matter what kind or whose they are. It all depends on how much you want to spend. Yaffe will rape you as far as price goes.

    If its about MONEY

Git ride of yer bike so you don't spend it

A Harley is about Customizing it to make it yer own.

If what you like the best requires more money

Sit back and save it till you have the money.

You can't scrimp on quality parts or looks you want.:gah:

The chubbies wont work due to my risers and clamp. I have to stay with 1" bars but I think that the dimensions of the 8 1/2 inch is just right. I gotta keep lookin.

    Not sayin it will happen.

    But realize this

The higher you git yer hands if you don't have a windshield.

The bigger chance you can have or yer bike gettin a draft off yer arms and it going side to side it higher speeds..........

Had it to happen on my 07 WG
    Think they were 16"

And in the winter, yer gonna definately tell a difference.
More air can go down yer sleeves
