:witsend:Riding down Hwy 20 well east of Marysville, CA, my friggin' end cap on my Vance & Hines Pro Pipe decided to defect and jumped off into a ravine, with the baffle cone joining it right after. So I ordered the parts, but only the end cap was in stock. I need to get more reversion, and am looking for ideas.

Anyone got a tested alternative? Can't stay off her until July 11th (backorder date), but she hates the low RPMs BAD! I've heard about a few things, but I'd rather try something that someone else has personally tried, rather than only heard about.

:roflmao: I hate that when that happens. Hope you find a solution. You could install a Big City thunder baffle for the time being.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I have used the BCT baffle. It works well.;)

I probably should have already done that, but the replacement is slowly on its way. I'm hoping for a "make do" kind of thing that will let me ride it until the part shows up next week.

Weld a washer to a threaded bolt. drill hole on underside of the pipe, use a washer and a nut with some locktite and there you go. A homemade baffle. that is basically what the BCT baffles are.

I think they make a quiet tone baffle, it's not that quiet but
it softens it up and should create more back pressure...
