I've been thinking that when I do close up the business that I may dump the cell phone. Gee the thought of no communications, wow wouldn't that be nice. :)

My OL calls me on it. My buddies calls me on it. I git Txt messages from everybody. INcluding the family.
I use it to take pictures and videos.
The picture I took of the head and the rally picture and video was with my Iphone.
I use the heck out of the notebook.
Got everybodys name , address, phone number and email address on it.
It has a alarm clock to wake me up.
use the timer, stop watch. Clock to tell me what time it is. The date.
    The weather, calculator flashlite.

Mabe you should ask HRK to do without his Iphone.
    Not me.

I changed her a few weeks ago from her 3GS to a Iphone 4.
Lost some of the data. She screamed, and screamed.
    Then hung up on me.
And we don't even fight. :D

I'd git Dog Bit jackin with her Iphone.
YOu want to ask her if she would give it up !
    I don't think so.

You got it all wrong CB, I never said I would take it away from you. Just think if we didn't have em, just think how simpler things would be, the world would slow down a bit. And most important part is, NO women talking on cell phones while driving. :D

My wife still can't use her Iphone to the extent that it was intended for. :roflmao:

MY Ol had a Razr about 2 yrs ago. I upgraded to a Iphone 4 so I gave her my Iphone 3GS. She screamed, she didn't want it, She don't like change.
All she needed to do was call somebody and talk.
I had to sit down one day and show her a couple things about how to use the Iphone, she screamed at everthing.
Then would git her panties in a crack and start screamin again. I'd drink another Redneck Budweiser and show her a couple more thing.
She would play with it some more. Then start screamin again.
I'd drink another Redneck Budweiser and show her some more.
This went on for a few hours on a saturday.
I showed her how to find some free games and download them.
Laid down and went to sleep
Worked with her for a week or so.
Now she does everything on it.

Just got he brother to git one a week ago.
Had to show him how to do something over thephone.
1st thing out of his mouth at the end of the 2nd day.
What took me so long to git a Iphone.......
MY OL uses a timer when she is cookin on the iphone.
She has a app when she walks or runs. tells her how far she went. and how long it took etc.
She recently joined a runnin club.
I put a lot of music on it. She uses her ipod head phones and used it when she runs or walks.

Git yer wife to go to Apple and sign up for a couple classes.

    Oh Hell yea.
My wife goes outside or goes to sleep and I pick it up and plug it into the computer and update it and back it up for her.
She does have a lot of stuff for work on her iphone.
Got no clue where it it. She has it packed with stuff.

At nite I grab it and plug it up to change it when she is here.

My wifes is plugged into my computer right now and the update says it will take 24 minutes. Problem with updating her phone off my computer or even for you is it will put all your contact phone numbers on her phone and vice versa. I don't need or want all her quilting buddies on my phone.

I got a spare computer and setup a Itunes account on it so she could keep all her info on it.
I tried to do it on mine and had a mess with all the phone numbers.
Don't have the patient to sit down and figure out how to do two off one computer.

    Do you need one. nope
will it come in handy sure

    Outside of the pictures
getting apps for crap you don't have to have
it's just another way to stay connected.

    If you just make calls
and maybe text, don't need eyephone
or expensive plans with internet access.

You guys reminded me of the scene in one of the old mel gibson/danny glover films where Joe Pesci and Chris Rock were going over it about the cellphones! Very funny!

Oh that is fighting words, a motorcycle and a cell phone are two diff. animals man. Cell phones don't do squat for your soul where a motorcycle does. :D

    All these are wants

Same with an eye fone, it's just a want
plenty of other devices do everything
just as well for less money.

People want to have it because
they have been conditioned to believe it makes
life easier and, it's hip, happening, cool
because other people know you have an eye fone.

Even when a droid will do it as well, but it's not "starbuff's kool to be on a droid"
they gotta have an eye phone, or eye pad, or both to be hip. Just like crackberrys used to be, remember when anyone in the world were snapping up crackberry phones, even people that didnt' need them, just to say "oh yeah that's my blackberry see I am important"

Same with Eye Pods, you can get a music mp3 player
non Apple for 1/2 to 1/3 the cost that will do everything
an eye Pod will do, but kids want the eye pod or they
    are not cool

It's an image thing, insecurity in people vis a vis
    ego = eye whatever...

A real man would get a droid.

A real man would throw his phone in the trunk or leave it at home and just ride free of all the electronic cluttering obstructing devices hanging off his handlebars or cluttering his pockets. Then just ride free and only have to worry about those stupid people driving while cell phoned. :)
