Wife and I decided to take a break and take the motor home down. Packed up her 2 cats and headed out. Weather is beautiful here about 65F no wind. Doc said to walk so did a long walk through the part (South Beach state park). Took a pic from the restaurant deck this evening. Gonna do another walk in the morn.

Very nice! Why is it everywhere (but New Jersey) in USA it's called the "Beach" but in New Jersey it's called the "Shore"?
I got out for a walk around the 'hood yesterday. Extra blood to the ol' pump seems to make a difference so far. Harley (the Choc. Lab) is pissed I didn't take him but couldn't risk him chasing a squirrel with me attched.

Walked down to the beach and walked along the sand. Beautiful day out, T-shirt weather. We found a bottle of Wild Turkey floating in the surf. Yep there was a note in it. Just his name suspect the Whisky may have washed out any writings on it.
We also say a Blue fin shark between the breakers. Big old dark fin sticking up. No surfers out today. Here is a couple pics.

Beautiful beach there FLHT, but where's all the people on such a gorgeous day?

Glad you're out enjoying your time of rest. Work comes upon ya too quickly, so take advantage of time off.

I got some bad news yesterday. My good ol' best friend had a massive heart attack and died. His birthday was today, and he would have only been 60. Strange thing was, he looked in great shape--not even overweight.

He had his own business (hanging rain gutters) for 30 years when he gave it to his son. He wanted to pursue his dream of owning a small neighborhood pub (The El Dorado), and he and his wife ran it for 5 years. Funeral is next Tuesday.

Got a few new pics today. Was thinking of Chuck and CB with the seafood. Got one pic of a shark swimming over my head and sea otters feeding. A mass of star fish and a big old sea lion.

Work day so the kids ain't out. There were a lot people on the beach with there dogs but tried to not get them in the photos. CB your Lab would have a ball on the beaches here.
Chuck no shortage of fresh sea food here. All the crab you can eat to. Just heard on the news that a great white was killed just off the beach, think I would skip the surfing. :D

Wife and I drove up the coast to a town called Lincoln City. They have a huge outlet mall there and one store was this huge junk tool store. All foreign made stuff but some really unique stuff. Picked up a bit set that folds up real small, good for the bike tool set.
Wife found all kinds of women's stores so went back and took a nap in the car.
We later drove down to the center of town :witsend: and there was a huge *** pride day crap set up with all there Rainbow stuff. Time to back to Newport, wife wants to go out for Chineese. So CB you got you wattaburger but we got lots of Chineese.
