Bad start to 2010

    Gettin ready thurs night for New years party get all done and sit down for relax time and chests starts hurtin 5 mins later is on fire and feels like elephant is standing on it! Call meat wagon get to hospital in 15 mins,they tell me havin M1 heart attack start me on blood thinners and morphine hr later all cleared up! Stuck in hosp bed ever since hooked up to 3 machines and can't even get up and walk around, get an angiogram Tues or Wed to try and find out what happened? Blood work is all good no high blood pressure no cholesterol and cells have oxygen might have been a dislodged clot from earlier surgery this July! For now get to sit around and pester nurses and eat and sleep when I want.
    This is the bright side!!!!!!:cussing::cussing:

    BP - Better now than at the beginnin of the ridin season. Hurry and get yourself well; and give those nurses a pinch for me.(only if their good looking).;)

    BluePearl that is a rough start to a new year and a new decade but just like sarge7 said, get it took care of so you can be ready for riding weather. It ain't as far off as it was.

    Feelin good - BP 106 /65 - HR 75-85 at rest all blood work is good low cholesteral good o2 count nurses can't believe I'm heart attack patient.
    Will be up and around in no time ready to ride anytime don't even think this will effect me in future.

    Wow! Scary. I'm glad it was a freak thing. I think it would be so scary to live through a heart attack and always wonder when it might happen again.

    When the check engine light comes on you gotta get it checked out. Relax now, you'll be back on the road in no time. Now your a winter-time couch potatoe with sexy nurses!:cool:

    BP just take it easy and get well, no stressing.. that is what causes a lot of heart problems..

    Good to hear you are recovering well. Take it easy. Riding in winter is not that much fun anyway.

    Angiogram mon a.m. hopefully I get good word - no stints or surgery would be best maybe some blood thinners for awhile would be OK. Feelin good all #'s stable should be around for awhile yet!!

    Blood thinners an’t so bad I been on them for almost 20 years. Just do what the doc says and you will be fine.

    Sorry you had the trouble, BluePearl. At least the Death Panels aren't in place yet! Bikers won't be treated kindly when they are, as we love freedom too much. Get well and back in the saddle!

    I know of two people
    that had your symptoms
    that never made it to
    the meat wagon
    to get fixed..

    You're lucky
    glad you made it
    to the docs.

    we're coming over to ride your
    bike all winter though
    wouldn't want the inside
    of the exhaust to rust or nuthing...
