Installing a DD6 gearset in a 01 Ultra, has anyone had an issue when putting the primary drive back together with a auto chain adjuster that the adjuster appears to sit a little high where when you have it together there is no free play in the chain? (adjuster is at its lowest point) I assume you have to go back to the original adjuster. Kit comes with new 28 tooth spocket and chain. original was a 24 tooth Tom

Forgot to mention, it was a Baker conversion kit and a HD auto tensioner.

YOu need to take some tie straps and tie the primary chain tensioner down.
When you stick it back in place and git it tighted down you can cut the straps.
If'n ya notise its a spring loaded tensioner. It ain't gonna have no slack in it.
