My batt. holds a charge but drops when trying to start my bike. The ha/da shop says its ok. just bought this batt. 4 months ago. Also whe I try a new batt. the same size it starts my bike right up.This tells me it is the batt. that is bad. YES OR NO thanks

    Charged

Well, I would say it might be your battery. Your local shop might just be trying to sell you a battery. It is very important that a new battery has a full charge on it when you install it on the bike, or it will never-ever charge to it's full potenial. With that said, I would check and make sure all my grounds are good and clean and secure. If that is all correct, then, your starter could be going out on you; pulling too many amps. I am just an shade-tree mechanic and I'm sure there is more knowl'edgeable folks out there. Good luck.
