Well you'll need some snap ring pliers to remove any snap rings that hold the bearings in place. Generally you'll need a press of some sort to install bearings in the trap door and probably to press them out.

A trick is to put your bearings in the freezer a couple of hours before you start to work
and then take a torch and heat the plate the bearings go into and typically the bearing
will slip right into place without a press.

Bearings in cases need pullers, you may have to find someone that has them as they
typically are specialty tools, You need to pull the old ones out of the cases and press the new in. Again you can freeze the new ones and push into the cases typically but
it's best to have a press.

I have the same press but if he's not splitting cases that's not gonna help

Internal bearings require a specific pulled and install tool

Also used it to replace the bearing in the clutch hub assembly last year.
It has to be pressed apart and pressed back together.
I replaced the bearing on my inner primary. Done forgot what I did after I took the snap ring off to git the bearing out.
    Thought I pressed it out.
Man I'm startin to git Old like Chucktx.:gah:
