What are the advantages of runnin' an open belt primary on a basically stock harley, instead of the stock chain? (other than the Cool Factor?) Maintenance isn't an issue cuz my M-6 takes care of chain adjustment, and changin primary oil is cheap & easy. Any thoughts?

Lighter wallet reduces weight on bike causing you to feel like your faster, bottom of jeans get torn and worn, rocks tossed into the open center if you don't have a $500 cover tear holes in belt, get to buy new belt.

Sounds and looks good but probably not worth the $1500 to $3000 investment

Thanks for the input. Think I'll stay with the chain. There ain't no leaks, and I can't hear it anyway, the pipes are freakin' LOUD.
