Our HOG chapter did a ride to Benchmade knives in Oregon City. This is their manufacturing site where some of the wolds best knives are made.
Picked up a really nice Mini-Griptilian which is just right for pocket carry. They make every component of the knife right in their Oregon City factory. We got to tour their facility, very nice and talk about quality.

Here's the knife I picked up, excellent quality.

Always carry this when on the road. Comes in handy if eating in and need to cut my food. Plastic cutlery leaves a lot to be desired, lol.

Very cool tour/ride. I always preferred having a destination like that. So far been to about 6 motorcycle museums.

Yea doing tours like this are a great distinctions. We don't have motorcycle museums like you have and that would make for a great ride.

I absolutely love my bench made knife. I always have it with me (except when I fly and I won't pack it either some a-hole baggage handler will steel it. BTW, my wife's pocketbook got picked by a TSA screener on the security line at an airport. She had an envelop with 200 cash in the bottom of a zippered compartment when she got to her plane she went in the pocketbook noticed it open and envelop gone. They denied it and said she has to miss her plane to file a report and wait to view the video tape. SOB's

I would still file complaint because they know they can get away with it.

She did and they said the tape doesn't show it. BUT we don't get to see it.

Man there is so much dishonesty anymore you don't know who to trust. The answer to that is simple no one. One reason why I refuse to fly anymore.
