Best bike harley made

of course the fxr is the best bike harley ever made,the new dynas suck,fuel injection sucks.new harleys in general suck.

gotta admit, FXR's are sweet

talk to CD or anyone who's owned 'em..I sure liked mine and I felt that it was a better bike than the Dyna low rider I had. I'm seriously thinking about getting a Dyna Super Glide once I get the work thing figured out. I rode one at Sturgis..really like it. The Dyna has come a long way.

Tell it like it is AFNurse. Shame to just meet someone and already be suspect of his intentions. FXRs are nice rides and the geometry is pretty darn good, but the latest advances in EFI sure do need to be respected. Also got to remember that it's hard to tell where you parked your new Harley last night because the ground is still spotless. I've yet to find a motorcycle I didn't like for one reason or another, but still haven't hit the point of finding out which one was the best ever built. My preference is usually which one is presently fitting comfortably beneath my butt.

idea

i was thinking we could have another section for these sort of threads for people who ride a harley but yet run them into the ground this section could be named "kids corner". any thoughts?

so i am thinking to myself, self, my bikes may be old and not as pretty as the ones coming off the showroom floor. but they are both paid for. and have brought many hours of joy.so it hard for me to understand how someone could bash harley.if and infact if they do actually own one.
complain about your wife, job or kids.....but not your bike....

Ignoring the drivel and getting to the meat of the subject, I have owned a pan head and still own a shovel head an evo and a tc. The jury is still out on the TC. Pans well were f'ing pan heads. I think the best made shovels off the factory line were the generator models (66,67,68) because at that time Harley was looking for a backer to keep from going belly up, to bad it had to be the bowling ball company but they did save the company. I think quite possibly the Evo may be the best engine Harley ever made. All this is just my own personal opinion. I have nothing bad to say about the TC (knock on wood) just need to get some more miles on it, I'll form an opinion at 50,000, my main concern is the subject that has been beaten to death, the chain tensioners. Best bike Harley ever made? It doesn't matter too much. Harley may give birth to 'em, but we riders raise 'em up to be the bikes they should be.

Before I bought my new Softial, I had never put a single mile on a Harley. (Who's gonna let some guy friend or not take his baby out for a spin?) I have been riding hondas and the like since I was 12, but never American Iron. I wanted something I could ride for hundreds of miles and not have my hands go numb...LOL I have that now. I love my softail, and cherish every moment I spent with her while I was home on vacation So in my limited experience, my softail standard is the best bike ever made by harley, cuz it is mine and the joy it brought me will last till I am an old man. WOW, I'm a sentimental sap, ain't I?
