Sorry I have been away. Had some chest pains and my heart started flutterin'. Sent me for a angigram Friday. All my arteries are clear.:D But I have a thickening of the heart. This can be treated with meds. They have barred me from my scoot until this Friday due to the surgery. Wouldn't you know it, this is the coolest week we have had in awhile:gah: Been through some rough stuff in my life but that was humbling.

I'm looking at the big 50 this October. The ol' man blew a seal for the 7th time before he went down. That and two open heart surgeries. Stubborn german was dead and refused to lay down. He died at 73 y.o.

Know what you mean... I did some figuring and the Ol' Man was about my age when he started having heart issues. The difference is I don't kill two packs of Salem Lights a day.:banghead: But I do like my biscuits and gravy:D

I'm on the blood pressure meds now. And carry a Nitro Spray. Go back the 16th to see the card. doc for my follow up. Roll on Friday morning... that's when he gave me the green light to get back in the wind.
Already changed my diet. On a Cardio diet that is a ball buster. :witsend: But I have lost over 20 lbs. in under a month. :D
I do not recommend this diet for the weak-at heart. Or anyone that has a short fuse.
Breakfast: Coffee black, Slice of toast with 1 Tbs. of peanut butter, a orange. Lunch: 1 hard boiled egg, 5 saltine crackers, raisens.
Supper: Half breast of chicken (boiled), :puke: 1/2 cup of carrots, 1/2 cup of green beans, 1/2 cup of sherbert.
You do this diet for 3 days then eat what you normally do, but in moderation. Do it for three weeks than one week off then back on it until you lose your target weight. ANYONE WANT TO JOIN ME?

MY OL took nutrician in College.
You need to learn how to cook again and exercise
Not that I care to exercise. Its too hard.

You got to cut down on your fat intake and cut back on the sweets and candies.

Eat more chicken, and fish and I think Pasta.
    Do stir fried vegetables.

I ain't a cook on this stuff, MY Ol has me kinda spoiled.

But Old City Slicker Chucktx loves Stir fried stuff.
Think he stir fried some Possum last week.:roflmao:
