    To All,

    I need an all around bike lift/jack that will work on all Hawgs and is adapadable to to other bikes with an adapter. I need your field advice on this one. I need a lift that will go the distance for my detailing/and maintenace needs and will pay for quality.

    I would go the the harbor fright bike lift air & hyd you can ride the whole bike on it & strape it down , fit"s all bike's I think there about $400 us money

    Hello,

    I appreciate your input. There are countless dealers out there that produce the lifts including sears and some other big named companies. I have done the google search and was looking for some owner responses. Again, I appreciate the input.

    i am going to assume that you will need porability. the sears yellow jack will get under a "big dog"....and it sets lower than harleys. the red one from sears will get under a harley, but you have to run the front wheel up on a 2x4 to get a dog under it. there is a company that has a great lift for servicing and detailing. it lifts the bike and also swivels.....i saw the demo live and he had an ultra on it and grabbed ahold of it and spun it......and he spun it fast!! it never tried to topple off. i was impressed, but was in the market for a table lift............................:)

    I Also Have The Red Sears Jack, Try To Keep The Bike Off It Because I Have To Pick The Bike Up And Mount It On The Jack. Due To Ride Hieght, If Price Isn't A Option Then I Would Shop For Something That Would Work For All Your Possible Needs, As Far As A Jack For Just Pratical Uses I Think They Will All Be About The Same Except Price.

    If money isn't an object and you want a floor jack then order a Pitt Bull jack,

    they are wide and low, very very stable, you can move the bike around in a circle with it on the lift, no wobble.

    When you lift you don't have to hold the bike upright, it picks it right up off the sidestand, (trust issues abound for the first few times) Same with putting it down, don't have to hold it and roll it out like a sears, it will set the bike down and put it over on the sidestand.

    Buddy has one, the wide base makes it stable.

    It's expensive but very well made in the USA and works like advertised.

    Went to Harbor Freight and picked up their 59.00 model. Don't have to worry about it not fitting under my 96 FLSTC. Does it just fine and is quite sturdy too. Did have to get a strap though.... think it was 5 bucks... :)

    The pitbull jack is everything they claim! If you're useing it to detail other people's bikes, don't scrimp, get the best. I use one to do tire changes and to wash my bikes. They are so easy to use I put my wife's deluxe up on it to clean the whitewalls every couple of weeks.
