    Great news and a special thank you to our special forces, man this is great news. What is interesting is he was in a 5 year old custom built large compound. His son was also said to be killed. Don't kid yourself the Pakyies knew all along he was there and the word is we did not let them know of the operation until we were well into it. :)

    He has already started by saying that he told the military when he took office that he wanted him hunted down and killed #1 priority. No doubt the demo's will use this all the way to the elections. :rolleyes:

    We also heard this morning on the radio that bin ladens body was taken out to sea and dumped into the ocean, :D Wonder if they cut his head off first. :D

    Ok I've listen to a few different news stations & all seem to differ a bit , all say he's dead some say he's been dead for a week & have D&A to prove it & other's say he was killed if a fire fight at his home over the weekend :fight: , at least he's dead & now for the rest of the story , more to follow in days to come

    Either way, it makes more sense that he was killed a week ago if they have DNA. Not sure that they could get the results that quickly. I sure hope that it is true and that they waited to confirm that it was him.

    I wouldn't doubt there would be a delay between killing him and announcing it. Seems to me our military would have wanted to get the body out of there not only to positively identify but so that his followers wouldn't put his body on display as a martyr. Also good to buy time to brace for any retaliation.

    Just speculating, most important thing is he's dead and couldn't be prouder of our military for a job well done!

    He is dead, and they have photos. I'm glad they dumped his body in the ocean, that way those A-hole followers of his won't have a place to morn him at. :D

    BTW, I think there needs to HUGE thank you to MR. PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH who had said repeatedly that this would take a long time and that we must show resolve. IT WORKED!!! Thank you Sir!!!

    One reason for the delay was they wanted to check the DNA on him and it proved 100% positive. ABC news showed the photo's from inside the compound after the firefight. Showed lots of blood on the floors and walls. I just hope they cut his head off, would be cool to stick it on a lance and put it on display at ground zero. :D
