Black Muffler/Chrome Headpipes

    Has anyone used black mufflers with their chrome headpipes? I'm finding some fair deals on black VH Monster ovals with chrome tips. My bagger is black and in my mind it makes sense but in the real world it may look like $hit. If anyone has done it, I would like to see a pic.

    just an idea or two.........take a pic and color the mufflers black, or get a black towel or cloth and wrap the muffler then stand back..........

    I saw them on a bagger a while back that was black and the headers were chrome, didn't look to bad.

    did it on my Heritage with a black thunderheader and chrome covers, from a distance it looked like I had short drag pipes, I liked the look, different..

    You can always get the chrome covers hot coated to match..
