I've blown the main fuse in my 2007 Harley ultra classic three times in the past week. It happens when I come to a stop and the engine quits like it's starving for fuel. When I try to restart the engine, the fuse blows. I just recently had an oil cooler installed. Maybe an electrical wire got crimped or something. Prior to the insall on the oil cooler, the bike ran great. Any ideas from anyone.

Not sure on the 07 but the brake light switch is right below to the right of the oil filter they might have messed up the wire there & when you try to restart I'll bet you have the front brake on & cause a short , I would look right behind your right floor board you'll see the switch & trace the wire from there

Always trace back your steps to what you just did and I'll bet you find the problem. :)

Have the shop check the regulator and stator wires
something is grounding and shorting out the fuse.

get down there and look for a loose or cut, bare wire
