I know that on a past thread from CB we spoke about our favorite boots and I raved about the waterproof Bates Tactical boots I have but... I lost weight recently and also needed to replace my old Frye Harness boots so ... I tried on the Harley Hustin Harness waterproof boots and my fat calves fit. So I got them. Wore them on this Laconia trip and we are getting lots of rain. I love these boots. My new favorites. Thanks Flht for the recommendation

Don't get me wrong I love them too its just that for normal shoes I'm used to harness boots and the HD boots work for both riding and casual.

I wish i'd seen this thread before yesterday. I just bought a pair of Magnum boots they look exactly like the Bates boots but I had to spray the waterproofing on them when I got home. I bought the 8inch high ones with a curved zipper at Sports Authority for out-the-door price of $73.00

    They feel real comfortable though.
