Brake Caliper - Rebuild or Replace?

    Got a front wheel brake caliper leaking pretty bad. Thoughts on rebuilding it? Seems simple, but as it is a brake (life saving device) and I have the opportunity to ask first, what is the general opinion out there?

    I would rebuild it. I've not rebuilt bike brakes but I have rebuilt my own brakes on my truck and step van. Simple as honing the master or wheel cylinder and replacing all the internals. Unless you don't mind paying someone else to do it. But I'd rather put my life in my own hands than put it in someone else's.

    +3 On rebuild...Unless you have $800-900 burning a hole in your pocket for a shiny set of new calipers:D....and you still couldn't do endos with them on a bagger:roflmao:
