I just received my new brass inlet. I have no instructions and no experience with CV carbs. Any tricks? Do I just pull out the old and push in the new?
It's too expensive to replace broken parts, so I'd rather ask for assistance.
    Thanks
    Carlos

Hello....I am puzzled by the fact that what I received, and the picture in your instructions are not the same. The one I received is two piece, the end that is pressed into the carb is round, and the isn't any initials (CVP) on it. Here are the details of my purchase.

Correct, the item you ordered is the Hi-flow inlet which is being sold as a close out item. The Hi-Flow is a 2 piece part as that is how they were manufactured. The inlet in the pictures on the site is the CVP Fuel Max Inlet. Both work identical and install the same.

By the way, I edited out the details you posted showing your order information. I wouldn't want spammers to pick up on your email and home address.
