I have an 06 Street Glide, 95" kit, race tuner, Thunderheaders, Mo-Flo air filter. Pushes 94.64 Power & 98.40 torque. It runs strong, however, it runs rough between 2,300-2,800 rpms. I have had the dealer dyno it 3 times and they just can't nail it. They race their own bikes and have a good reputation, but I have had it with them. I've heard some bike builders don't like the Scream'n Eagle race tuner. Any thoughts?

might want to check for codes see if maybe you have a bad sensor. i have an 06 the vss,(vehicle speed sensor) went bad (at 23,000mi). runs like crap til i hit around 55-60mph. as far as the race tuner goes; seems to be alright once it's set up, most dislikes of it seem to evolve around the set-up, alittle more complicated than the others.

Make sure you have the 25 degree injectors in there if it is an early 06 they had 8 degree and they had lots of issues and even had a service bulletin and dealers replaced alot of them under warranty even if the bike was out. Todd

I know i sound like a broken record, every time someone has a running problem with a 06 I tell them to check their injectors but no use chasing their tales trying different things when the injectors could be the cause and the dealer will replace them for free most of the time, anyway here is how to tell them apart, Todd

Hey guys, I spoke with the dealer today and asked about the 25 degree injectors and if they replaced the 8 degree. Which they did when they did the big bore kit. So back to the dealer to see why it flattens out at 2,500. It sure was easier back in the good ole days of jets... I told the dealer even my 52 Pan ran better when I tuned it. I hope he was insulted. :banghead:

you said thunderheaders, are you running slip ons mufflers on stock headers or a 2-1.

You might be getting some reversion in that range,

If you have a 2-1 you may need to change the fuel settings, tell them to use the AFR probe and check the readout in that range.

Race tuner works well but takes a lot of work.
