has anyone tried one of the new windshields that brian klock of KlockWorks intoduced this past year. I talked to him at a swapmeet/bike show this winter about the design and his tests with the new design put a little down pressure on the front forks and did a great job of diverting the air around the rider with less drag than a stock windshield. I have an '08 Ultra and I would like to replace the high stock one. But before I buy I was hoping some had tried it and could share their opinion.

Wow, I seen on his site they are 169.00. I would also like to see how good it works before I throw:confused: out them duckies on a windshield for a fairing.

If you're going to do it, get the 12". My friend who works the parts counter at my local dealership, bought one for his roadglide in the 8" size. He reports that it looks cool as hell, but is completely worthless for any kind of protection from the elements. On another forum where I've read several reviews, people seem to be much happier with the 12". I'm waiting till they come out with a 16".

Just noticed you're riding an electraglide in your avatar pic...it was the roadglide flare I was reviewing. On the same forum, I've read several reports from happy customers for the FLHT shields they offer.

Buddy put one of these on his 08 Ultra
Said it did nothing to help, his stock windshield which is about 6 inches or so was better.

    He took it back
