BSA B-40 inner case removal

    Removing secondary cover there is a small channel to the right of the cam nut with something recessed inside. The Haynes manual does not mention this. Do I have to do something with whatever is inside before removing the cover? I have removed the nut.

    Can't help you either....but the Haynes Manuals suck....I had one for my F150 and according to the Manual it didn't have a windshield wiper assembly:rolleyes:

    Clymer a a little better....
