just ordered 17" apes(monkey bar style) for my 06 roadglide. Want to order cables so they will arrive at the same time. In a time crunch so can"t put them on then measure. Any one know what size will work

Check with the company you bought the cables from. Most of them sell complete kits to go with the bars you ordered.

Your apes have a 17" rise...I don't know stock rise for a RG, lets say 7" as an example.... so the apes would be 10"over stock RG bars,so I would think you'd want cables that are 10"over stock RG cables...just an example...measure the actual rise on the RG bars

You will also need a longer brake line!
