Buddy down the street has a 2010 SE SG, He has run just about all but the last 6 months with SE synthetic oil in his bike. He changed to Mobil 1 cause Walley World carries it and its easier to get and very good oil
He has 44,000 on his 110 cu motor
Here is a picture of the cam chain tensioner. So with this little wear, how could you say anything bad about the SE oil, or the new style cam chain tensioners.
How could you want to to gear drive ?
Much easier system to work on.
Oh yea the runout was 6 thousands.

You have the top view of the stock cam chain tensioner.
And a picture on the bottom of the Zippers new dual pistol cam chain tensioner.

We loaded a map in the Thunder-Max for the zippers 527 cam which is another great cam

The bike turns the the rpms up a whole lot faster than his SE 255 cam that was on the bike

Looks good CB. I have to check my Old style tensioners this winter. Also, I'm gonna check the runout. Then I'm gonna check my bank. From there I'll make a decision as to which way to go.

Forgot to say we also used woods directional lifters he got from Jamie alone with the 222woods cams.
He already had bought the fuelmoto stainless Header pipe with both 12mm and 18 mm bungs. And the TM
The bike will jump on 70 super fast.
Has a lot of torque coming in early and pulling to 5000 rpm
You don't need to wind the motor up that high on.
And if you want to pass, simply twist the throttle and hold on.
He is a happy camper too.
