Check it's green card or ask for a passport, if no drivers license call the authorities...

    They can question it....

Should be stamped in the end of the cam...

yes and no, depends on where they marked it.

Might say andrews on one end, cam number on the other

technically it should be on that end but I've seen it on the other
    or on the lobes,

Ya gotta release the pressure off the push rods first...if you have adjustable rods it's not too bad...stock rods...rocker box gotta come off...

Tommy I am presuming this is an EVO style bottom

So when you pull the cam cover you may not see any numbers on the end
but you might on one of the lobes

    Depends on manufacturer

However on shovels and evos the cam is in the center
and it is held in position by the cover so if you remove it
and the engine has pressure on a valve that is lifted
it might try and move the cam

    Hopefully you have adjustable pushrods,
back them off, then use magnets to hold up lifters
you can pull cam cover off then and remove cam
to see stamp on cam of model...

Thanks. I think I will just wait. I saw some close out deals on crane cams and was gonna buy one if I could check my cam and purchase a better one, I would but it's too much trouble. Anyway if you go to DennisKirk.com you will see the close outs. Some items are 33% off~! Some sweet deals.
