This is the same problem I've had in the past with the pro- clutch. It want's to creep, hang up in gear, doesn't shift smoothly. At first when I adjusted it it would be fine for a couple of miles then it starts in again after six or eight miles. Sometimes It will come out of gear but not often. I've tried adjusting it as said by the manufacture and here and I keep gettin the same results. I put the "little" shims is so I have more throw on my clutch, Took it out to and calibrated it out and I have .150 on the meat, checked to see if I warped anything on a flat surface. Put a different throw out bearing in. Whats next? Stretched clutch cable? Thanks.

I've never heard of one stretching that much either. Did you use the service Manuel and adjust it by that?

Cable strecth can happen and often does in a new cable but not as much as you talk about. I would look in a different area to find the cause of the problem.

are you adjusting the clutch and the cable as the book states???? that would be two different adjustments. it shouldnt matter who's plates your using. the other thing i would look at is the ramp and balls on the throwout side of the clutch. check the rod for wearing. it should not wear, but if there is a problem at the ramp, it could........

Sorry it took me so long to get back to my comp. Thanks for the reply. I gave up and got a new clutch. Yes and no or is that no and yes.... anyway... I checked the ramp when I swamped out the throwout bearing and yes I adjusted it from advice I got here and Rivera. It's a clutch adjustment how difficult can I make it?. I figured it was time. if I adjusted it and it's fine for a few miles then it's out whats it gona do when I'm out and about sometime. I gave up and got a new clutch, works great now. I think I'm gona back off on the burnouts. (for a day or so) Thanks
