Was on the forum Sat night and ran across a ad for a "cheap" air horn; so I thiught what the heck try it.
Got it WED afternoon and slapped it on the ride under the right cover by the master cyl. - Got done about 1100 PM and decided to take it out for a short run.
Now I got to tell you that the advretised db for this horn is 138 db. But when I pulled up behind a car and "tryed" it the gal jumped 5 feet into the intersection, she was talkin into her cell phone and not watchin the lite.
For 60 bucks if it lasts a year - I'm a happy man.
And the dammed thing IS LOUD!

Just be careful when you use it. A buddy of mine put them on his bike and thought it would be funny to scare the crap out a gal on the interstate and it backfired on him. He pulled up next to her and blew his new horn while she was on her cell phone and the gal panicked and swerved right at him . He ended up on the shoulder at 70 mph. Got back on the tar and went home and put the stock horn back on.

When I worked at the Indy Shop I got to opportunity to see all kinds of horns and worked on some of them. Some horns git in the way of other stuff and are too long, some come loose.
The air horn I've seen more than once that always worked and mounts in the place a stock horn works, don't come loose and is loud is this horn.
Its got a nice fit, looks good and really rocks
I would like one for my bike.

When we went to Big Bend State Park a couple weeks ago, a dude had a 03 Ultra Classic he bought used that had a set of BJ's air horns on that the owner put on new.
I had to show them to my Buddy CaptVic and the OL.

I blowed them out in the parkin lot, they blasted everything real good and I just bumped the horn button.

got mine mounted under the right cover just below the master cyl. - also have the stock horn still working for those LEO's that don't like getting their coffee in their lap when I use the new horn.
The BJ horns look good but the 200+ price is way too much for my pocket - mine were less than a C note. And if it lasts a year then I fiqure it's worth it.
