Any body get strange looks or a semi argument from folks when you try to tell them the the 103 Primary holds a bit more (6 ozs. more) that the other Primary cases. Every time I buy the oil, the sales guys say only a quart and I have to tell them that , no the manual says 1.12 quarts or 38 ounces. It's always news to them. But that is what it takes to bring thhe level to the lip of the case.

I wonder if that extra 6 ozs. really makes any difference. Then again, maybe the guys at the dealership don't feel like opening another bottle of oil just for 6 ozs. more LOL.

I brought the level up to where the oil touched the clutch pack and the belt better.

I always have a second bottle I use and fill it just as you did. Just be sure you don't add to much.

Went from 32oz to 38 oz....I don't think another 3/4 cup of oil is going to raise the oil level up very much over the volume of the primary....good way to sell 2 quarts for a service though:)...As long the chain is in the oil a bit sloshing it around,I don't think you have to be that exact...YMMV:D
