How often do you suggest I clean and or rebuild my super G. Mine has about 15,000 miles on it. It came with the S&S 124. Runs fine, not quite as much power as it used to have (maybe I'm just used to it) Or maybe I should look into freshening up the top end. Don't big inch motors wear out faster than smaller inch or is that just a bunch of bull. Then again if it works don't fix it.

if it aint broke dont fix it.........lol lol the life span of an engine is mostly determaned by the operator/maintainer...........the better the operation and maintenance, the longer the equipment will last.

Other than taking the filter off and cleaning it with some carb cleaner I wouldn't worry about it if it's running good, and yeah you get used to it.

To get the feel back rent a stock HD for a weekend... Seems to get you back
the power you were missing LOL

I envy people that can just leave a bike almost stock and just putt along not worry about it. I don't feel good till around 80 MPH or so. Then I got to worry about the cops.

Being a commercial driver with a hazardous material endorsement makes them think I should know better (I don't) so they spank ya more. I think my last 15 mph and over just dropped off. The officer was mighty surprised when I thanked him break. Knock on wood.
