Right now I have a Super B carb. on a shovel w/ a 96" stoker kit (I think it's 96"). I'd rather get a new carb. vs. rebuilding the Super B. What carb should I get? Will a stock Super E work or do I need some kinda special jet kit for the stroked engine?

I would think a super E kit for a shovel would have the intake and all the parts and is a good street carb. Had one on my 95 and it ran great better than the larger G. A thunderjet in the E gives you a bit more tuning ability.

An alternative would be to go over to a HD SE CV carb, these run great, get great fuel mileage and are very smooth.

I was goin to look into the CVs too. I know I'll need a different intake manifold for the CV, Will the S&S B intake work w/ the E or would it need a different one?

Check out the Mikuni's also. I bought a Mikuni easy kit from D.P. and have had no problems from it what so ever! Easy to install, easy to tune,....just plain easy! :D

You can go with a CV but it is a bit of work. You will need CV push / pull cables, spigot adapter, special carburetor mount etc.

This is one of the those cases where an off the shelf Super E full kit shines.
