Not sure I'd show my mug on the inner net
in the act of a federal violation......

Al Bore will be there tomorrow...

JMO it's a neat video and good work
looked like a pin hole on the weld,

I'd just by new headers in case the
    epa police setup investigation
    stations in your area
then you can just bolt on the stock headers
get the sticker and ride home and go back to
    power pipes...

Very nice, thanks for sharing that. By the look of how dense the packing is inside the converter it seems prime for becoming plugged with carbon if you were to experiment with richer mixtures via a tuner. You wouldn't know unless you measured the exhaust output and with the converter being inaccessible you would be forced to replace the whole exhaust. However I'm sure that is what the EPA wants to happen. At least with cars the converter can be cut out and replaced when they go bad. Could you imagine the cost (and outrage) if Dodge Ford or Chevy told you that when you're catalytic converter went bad you had to replace the entire header and exhaust system?

YOu can look at whatever reason you need to make you want a Older bike.
But all I can say is don't go to Demo days and throw yer leg over a new bike.
They are better than any bike Harley has ever made.

You got EPA restrictions on everything now days. Even yer car.
The new harleys are Push button Starting. You can ride them just like they come off the showroom floor and they run fine.
Frames are better and the new motors run great.

If its taken care of no telling how long it will last.
I got a buddy back home that run into a man that had a 08 Ultra who is retired.
Him and his OL traveled across the United States for like since 07 when it come out new. The computer shows oil changes and tires and all.
He got a 5 yr warranty on the bike and a wheel warranty and oil change warranty.
Till a couple months ago when they traded it in with 300,000 on it.
He traded it in and git a 2011 Ultra and paid for the same Warranty.

    My buddy tripped out.
The bike was bought Stock, left stock and just rode all the time.
    They lived on the bike.
    What a life...:gah:

Me thinks most high milers are pretty much stock, they don't break when left alone and proper maintenance
    is done.

If you call Jamie with FUel Moto. He probaly has a can map from where he has dynoed a bike that is just to yer setup is with the same cams you have in the bike.
And all you'd have to do is load the map in the Power Commander.

    As simple as that.

I'd leave the cams, To me cams is a save thing to change as long as you don't go high lift and or get wild with'em.
Although the wifes bike runs real good and it is stock except for mufflers, K&N air filter and a carb from Ken that I've had on 3 different bikes.
