I had a center stand that I had on my 09 Ultra and took it off as it was hard to drive off even in my shop. Well I installed it on the Ultra limited and the limited must sit differently as it works perfectly. Here is the video of it from the manufacture.

I purchased one for my 1981 FLT, that was supposed to fit. I had to put a 3/4" spacer under the foot of the stand. It then worked great. Problem! I put new tires on the bike and it sets higher, works OK it you put a 3/4" pice of ply wood under the stand. The bike sets high, so I guess the next trick is try and find a lowering kit for that old of a bike.
I guess I would be aware of potential, new and unusual situations to overcome.:banghead:

But they do not take into consideration the changes that can happen, like changing tires. I spoke directly with the individual that owns the company and he sent me the longest stand they make. Still 3/4" to short.

I understand so then like in your case its called custom modification time 3/4 inch bar stock cut to size and weld to the bottom of the feet. :) Just don't go back to the stock tire.

Several of us had that problem on our 2009 Ultras when we first got the lift. In certain situations it would not ride off. I think the 09 set higher. We took them all (3 of em) and put a couple of weld beads across the bottom of the feet. Then it worked.

Mine works great on the 2011 model, same one off my 09.

I have already bent some 3/4" bar stock put it on the bottom pads. It's now 3/4" to high after the tire installation, with the same brand and size tire that were on it. I think an improvement to the product would be to in some way make it adjustable an inch or so. When it fits, I believe it's a great thing. I like the way it sets upright and when jacking it up, saves having a heart attack when it comes up or down the last bit.

Only issue I have is the price at $300 for a kickstand the HD Tax is just too much

HD tax is the price you pay on a part that is above it's real
perceived retail value simply because you are putting it on an HD.

This thing should retail for no more than $125 to $150 MAX JMO
Total cost to produce is probably about $50.

There is approx a $175 HD "TAX" on the part.

I paid 250.00 for it at a rally and that was installed because 3 of us got one the same day. One reason for the high cost is probably the insurance they need to carry.

I ordered direct from the factory and didn't pay sales tax and I think the guy really worked with me to get the best fit he had, got to give him credit for that.

Yep, that's the lawyer tax LOL

If I sold this I'd ask anyone buying,

    "Whatchado fer a livin"

If they smile and say "I'mthelivingscumbucketlowlifePOSworstpileofdogturdsntheworld"
    aka lawyer I'd say. :p

Not selling to you, you'd just nick your fancy leather
Allen Edmonds and sue me... :gah:

Here is a picture of the center stand installed under the bike, nice and neat and tucks up out of the way pretty good. Had a guy who wanted to buy it and am glad I put it on the new bike.

How much more could it possibly raise the price of a new bike if HD put them on at the factory?! I don't understand why they don't offer them.
