Check engine light

    Went for a short ride and my check engine light come on and speedometer quit then right away went out and back to normal. I didnt notice any other issues with preformance Any hints before i start digging in the manual 2000 Fatboy with carb.

    see if you can get some "codes" of the bike.....manual should tell ya how it is done.....

    what chuck said or if no codes show up double check for a loose wire
