They are pouchs designed to carry tools and fit on the floor of your fiberglass bags between the rails taking up little to no space. You can buy either the empty pouchs and put in your own tools or buy the pouchs with tools. Very cool and practical:

Pretty good idea. Since my space requirements are different, I put all my tools in a small fanny pack pouch that fits perfectly in my saddlebag. (I cut off the waist band).

Now this is neat. I should consider getting one of these as I could have used something like this over the summer riding season. Thanks for posting this.

I talked to those guys in Sturgis and looked at them. There a pretty good idea however the tool pouch that came with my 2012 works great. Added a couple items to it but it really doesn't take up a lot of room.
What I did like is the way they fit in the very bottom of the bag. Still a good idea.

I have a 2012 and the tool pouch is like a swiss army knife type very small deal with the very basics. I was figuring the weren't expecting the owner/riders to be doing much roadside repairing.

I thought so too. Mine are on order and haven't arrived yet. When they do and I transfer my tools into them I'll tell you how it went.

Please do. I have the extended bags so if I could find something that is compact, I will consider it.

How do those work? Aren't they just a false bottom extension of the saddle bag?

So you have full use out of the extensions?

My bags have been stretched so that they somewhat wrap around my exhaust system. Yes, they are one piece and they are open the entire length of the the bag on the inside.

Here is a picture of my bike and I the day I bought it. Notice how the bag comes pretty far down past the bag support bar? I have storage all the way down in that point. That is why I like these pouches.

Got my pouchs today and pulled out my large and full tool bag and filled the 4 saddle bag pouchs and still have a bunch of extra room for more stuff as I see necessary. My tool bag was about 5" around and about 9" long taking up its share of space. These new pouchs slip neatly into the bottom of both the saddle bags as advertised...very happy. Only 59$ for all 4.

Awesome to hear! I will be picking some up as well soon. Can you snap some pictures of the pouches installed then post them?

I'll snap the pictures when I get home but it'll take me a smidge to get them online. In the meantime here is the video of how they will look:

    http://www.storagepouches.com/#!__video-demos

I'm also leaning toward the 2 styles of Caddyshack tethers(saddle bag lid web/tethers) they offer. Someone sure found an inexpensive way to utilize even more space in the saddle bags. And when you're on the road its all about storage space and places to put things.

And its not so much "installed"much as it is once with tools in them they lay down in the specific recess at the bottom of both saddle bags ergo using space otherwise not being utilized..very cool concept I thought.
