Harsh winds have been whipping a fire through the foothills near Rancho Cucamonga. I know Tomflhrci98 lives in that area but not sure how close. Hoping he and his family are okay. It was 97 today and suppose to reach 100 here tomorrow with more winds. Ugh!

This time the fires are further south in the San Diego county areas. We've had a wild week of 90-100 degree weather, almost no humidity, and high winds. All of which makes Southern Cal a tinder box and made worse by the idiots who don't think before flicking a cigarette out the window. Some of the fires are still burning tonight but are getting under control. The weather is improving now as the humidity rises, temps start dropping, and fire fighters get a grip on it.
