Choke knob

    hi learned ones zak again the choke knob on my fxrs has started acting up firstly it would not stay out now it wont pull out at all bought the bike as second user and the whole assembly seems to be held together with two cable ties is this normal ??? cheers

    the cable ties are not normal. there is a plastic knurled nut that holds the choke cable. it is tightened/loosened to adjust the tension. if it is broken the assy. need replacing............breakdown in the service manual, very easy replacement...........

    I had to replace the choke cable on my bike..think it cost 12 bucks
