I have a 2005 softail standard. I want to change the primary case cover to a chromed one. Anyone know if the original frosty one can be bright chromed
economically-like would it be cheaper than buying a new chromed one from H-D?

I would look for a chrome one online - ebay, or buy a new one.

You'll be down for riding time for one.

Check prices with a local chrome shop and compare to see how you come out.
