Kennesaw GA did it a long time ago, funny thing Kennesaw is now part of North Atlanta
and has the lowest crime rates in Atlanta.. Brother lived there when they did that.

Do you really think the anti gunners will even look at that. The Obummer lead groups have one agenda and that is total firearm confiscation and for one purpose. I believe that is to disarm the opposition and you know what that leads to. All this talk about protecting kids and other crap is a smoke screen to total confiscation.

Actually what a lot of it is about is failing to fix the death of voters
most of the gun crime in the USA is Black on Black, daily
I hear about gun crime here, and when they interview the people
Black Neighborhood, inner city, poor, crime, black on black.

The people they have as voters are the ones they
have been paying for with government money, housing, food stamps
bomma phones, and thats where the gun crime happens

I just read a great paper on the Second Amendment written by a professor Edward Ehler at Hillsdale College in Michigan, published in their newspaper "Imprimis". After reading this paper, I want to vote this guy into office--he's exactly the kind of leader we need in this country.

Several Oregon state Democrat senators introduced 4 bills in Oregon yesterday to mirror what Connecticut just did. Man these slim balls never quit.

Got a newsletter from NRA that said they are being attacked like never before in history. I see this as the next Revolutionary War just around the corner.

When the country is in the middle of this chaos, that's when Iran, North Korea, China, and Soviets will all team up against us. When this happens, we won't have any world allies.

Got a neighbor that just got citizenship
He's from Canada. His dad and mom are down staying with him for the winter
His dad was telling me the Democrts keep workin little by little till thy take away ll your gun rights
Then they come in and raise your gas and taxes
They are doing the same thing here as they did in Canada
    When they outlaw guns
If you use one to protect yer self , you broke the law
It's a federal offence and you go to prison for murder
When you loose yer rights you don't get them back
The Democrts are building strength here and will not let up
Better git behind the NRA and fight
He said Obama and Hilary Clinton are here to take over for the Democrats
We are in for Big trouble

Picked this up from another forum:

ATF Information Repository. They want to know all about you and who your friends are.
They're going to get their firearm registry with or without Universal Background Check legislation.

ATF Seeks 'Massive' Database of Personal Info: 'Assets, Relatives, Associates and More' | CNS News

A recent solicitation from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) reveals that the agency is seeking a "massive" online database capable of pulling up individuals' personal information, connections and associates.

On March 28, ATF posted the notice on FedBizOpps.gov, entitled "Investigative System." The solicitation was updated on April 5 with a few minor changes.

The document says that the system will be utilized by staff "to provide rapid searches on various entities for example; names, telephone numbers, utility data and reverse phone look-ups, as a means to assist with investigations, and background research on people, assets and businesses."

The system is described as a "massive online data repository system that contains a wide variety of data sources both historically and current that can be utilized in support of investigations and backgrounds."

The overview of the solicitation states:

Staff will utilize "a number of internal databases as well as external sources to provide timely and relevant information and intelligence products to law enforcement agencies at the federal, state and local levels."

The system "provides a means to rapidly check records across the country" and is "necessary in assisting investigators, agents and analyst to find people, their assets, relatives, associates and more."

The ATF says they will use this system to provide information to Intelligence Analysts, Special Agents, Inspectors, Financial Investigators and Law Enforcement.

The investigative system will allow ATF to "obtain exact matches from partial source data searches such as, incomplete social security numbers, address, VIN numbers, etc."

The system will also have the ability to "link structured and unstructured data to find connection points between two or more individuals."

Makes me sick thinking about how so many fought here and overseas to keep this country free from dictators and monarchy, then to see our current crop of democrats crawling around apologizing to the world for being so mean to them.

We fought to give people the right to have different opinions without being killed. Now we conservatives are the ones on the receiving end from our own radical gov't. I actually hear some young liberals spouting how they want to kill Republicans!!!

FLHT, do you remember a book written by George Orwell called "1984" a few years ago? That was supposed to be pure fiction back then, but now Orwell looks like a prophet doesn't he?

Not unusual for Hillsdale College. I've been getting the college newsletter "Imprimus" for well over 20 years now. It's free on request. They are one of the very last bastians of freedom left in this country. A great college.

BTW, I think REQUIRING gun ownership is going too far in the other direction. Lord keep us from radicals on either side!
