Coil testing

    Does anyone know how to check a crane cams,single fire ignition coil,I'm sure there is a resistance test,I suspect it being bad...Thanks ...Al

    I'm not sure what the secondary resistance should be but you should get 3 ohms across the studs using the middle as common(outside to middle on both)...it's like having two 3 ohm coils in one case...hope this helps a bit
