Colorado Springs where HarleyLR is has been hit hard. Abby's area has been hit hard also but sounds like she's still dry. Gotta really suck up there. I think HarleyLR is up on a slop, I hope.

Hey all, we are fine flooding all around but like FLHT said we live on a pretty steep hill. On the west side in Manitou Springs has been hit hard, Boulder is in bad shape, roads washed out etc, My son the strom chaser is headed that way next week to start repair and replacement of 20 miles of high pressure gas lines.
    Thanks all for asking,
Me, i've been sick with bronchitis for over a week, on the road to recovery now.

Very good to hear from you HarleysLR, and glad to hear you're recovering from Bronchitis - had that last year and don't ever want it again.

Saw some footage of the damages to homes and businesses just today, very similar to what happened to Calgary, Alberta up here. The ruin these floods cause is just terrible. I don't know if they are actually worse than in the past, or if the news coverage is able to show it more clearly due to the technology today. Makes me worry for the world my daughter will have when she hits my age. Thoughts with those who lost all they worked for. Insurance companies likely looking for loopholes as I type...
